Look no further than these classic recipes, all made with common pantry ingredients. We've thrown in a couple of 'making hacks' along the way to make these the perfect go tos, even when the kitchen's busy!
The Easy Tidal Spiced Mojito
Glass: Highball
Ice: Cubed
Garnish: Burnt orange slice & Rosemary
Ingredients:
- 8/10 Mint Leaves
- 50 ml The Tidal SPICED Rum
- 15ml Lime juice
- 15ml Orange Juice
- 10 ml Simple syrup (3:1 honey and water can be used!)
- Top with Soda
Method: Fill the glass with mint, and syrup. Crush with the back of the spoon, then add the ice and build the rest from, topping up with soda to finish. Garnish with a slice of orange and or rosemary for that festive note!
The Tidal Blianc Daiquiri with cranberry twist option
Glass: Coupe / martini
Ice: None
Garnish: Lime rind
Ingredients:
- 50 ml The Tidal Rum Blianc
- 25 ml Fresh lime juice
- 10 ml Simple syrup
- Add 35 ml cranberry juice and garnish with loganberries for a festive twist
Method: Mix all together with ice and shake vigourously. Strain and pour into your coupe! Put your coupes in the freezer before making, so that your daiquiri stays super fresh on pour.
The (cheater's guide) to the Tidal Hot Toddy
Glass: Mug
Garnish: Lemon peel, ginger candy or dried pear
Serves one.
Ingredients:
- 3 x Cloves
- 1 x Cinnamon sticks
- 45ml The Tidal Rum Gold or Spiced
- 100 ml Honey Syrup (3:1)
- 10 ml Lemon Juice
- 125ml (Top) Brut cider and / or apple & pear juice
Mix all in a pan and bring to a simmer. Once warm, strain and pour into a mug before adding your garnish.
If you have a coffee machine, you can do this by mixing all in a milk jug and heating at the coffee machine steamer!
