1. The Competition Promoter is Shorts Boy Distillery, Private limited Company Incorporated on 17 July 2018 with company number 11467254 with its registered office 101 New Cavendish Street, 1st Floor South, London, United Kingdom, W1W 6X (“Promoter”).
2. Entrants open to 18 and over only.
3. No bulk, third party or automated entries are accepted.
4. No responsibility is accepted for any entries that are incomplete, lost or delayed or are unable to be handed in because of any technical fault or other reason.
5. The start date of the competition is Wednesday 21 January 2026 at 00:01 and the competition will close Midnight Saturday 14 February 2026.
6. One winner will be selected at random after the competition has closed
7. The prize entitles you to of an overnight stay for two people in a Seaview Balcony Room, two-course set dinner for two in Coast Bar & Bistro and two Tidal Rum cocktails (plus a case of six bottles of Tidal Rum that Tidal Rum will supply direct). Booking is essential. Please call 723493 by Monday 9th March to make your booking, stating that you are the Ommaroo / Tidal rum competition winner. The stay must be taken by Tuesday 31st March 2026. The stay cannot be taken on Friday 13th or Saturday 14th February. The prize includes accommodation, food and Tidal Rum cocktails only, additional drinks are not included. The case of six bottles of Tidal Rum will be supplied direct from Tidal Rum. This prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other deals. This prize is non-transferable and substitutions are not permitted. Offer is subject to availability.
8. The Prize is a ticket only prize. Transportation to and from The Ommaroo hotel is not included and the prize does not include costs of any kind whatsoever incurred incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize. All such costs or expenditure shall be entirely the responsibility of the winner. It shall be the responsibility of the winner to ascertain before travelling that the Prize meets their and their guest’s access needs.
9. The winner may be requested to take part in publicity.
10. The Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
11. To enter the competition entrants must do one of the following before the competition closes. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
- 1. Visit the online competition page at and complete the details shown there. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
- 2. For every entry instigated via the Tidal Rum official Competition Promotion social media post entrants will receive an extra entry. To qualify, entrants must tag the Ommaroo Hotel and Tidal Rum on the public social media post for the competition and also follow one of the following social media accounts INSTAGRAM: @tidalrum, @ommaroohotel; FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/TidalRum, https://www.facebook.com/Ommaroo. Once a tagged post and the relevant accounts have been followed entrants must visit the competition page at https://tidalrum.je/pages/theommaroogiveaway and confirm which social media profile account they have used on their Competition entry form. For every entry instigated via this route entrants will receive an extra entry to the competition.
12. The winner will be contacted via email on 16 February 2026 by the Promoter. Only the winner will be contacted personally.
